What ARCH wants
ARCH aims to improve healthcare and reduce the burden of disease for those with rare forms of arthritis. We do this by pooling expertise. The ARCH network consists of ARCH hubs. An ARCH hub is a regional network of practitioners, in both local and university hospitals, that all take part in weekly or monthly regional consultations. ARCH facilitates and stimulates collaboration and exchange of information, knowledge and experience between patients and healthcare professionals – even at a distance. And it can be good for patients that cannot or do not want to travel far. Through the platform, healthcare professionals can talk with each other about the diagnosis and the treatment and work with the patient to draw up the most appropriate programme of treatment.

And there is more
The ARCH expertise platform also facilitates scientific studies into improving the treatment of rare forms of arthritis. In this way we hope to contribute to research into new treatment and make ARCH a central point for knowledge, experience and expertise.
